About Lisa Marie’s Demise

Lisa Marie, who was 54 years old, made headlines when she was rushed to the hospital after suffering a heart attack. It appeared as though she was getting stable until the second cardiac arrest hit. She Once Expressed How She Felt About Graceland’s Backyard
Presently, the award-winning singer has joined her other late family members in the backyard of her sprawling estate which she inherited from Elvis at the age of nine. Lisa Marie once expressed how she felt about the backyard of the property, as she shared that she did not like it. The mom-of-three basically referred to it as a graveyard. Lisa Marie stated in a 2003 interview, “How many people are reminded of their fate, their mortality, every @#%$ day? All the graves are lined up and there’s a spot there, waiting for me, right next to my grandmother.”
She Spoke Of Being Buried At the Graceland Backyard

Although the songstress was philosophical about how she felt, she seemed not to have a problem with being buried there. When asked if she planned on being laid there to rest, she noted she was sure she would end up there like the rest of the family members that were buried on the property. She jokingly stated, “I’m sure I’ll end up there. Or I’ll shrink my head and put it in a glass box in the living room. I’ll get more tourists to Graceland that way.”
Brief Look At The Memorial Service
Hundreds of fans and mourners filed to the Memphis property in Tennessee with some baring flowers as the service began beneath the willowy trees in the estate. The people slated to address the mourners included Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla Presley, her longtime friend, Sarah Ferguson, and musicians Billy Corgan, Axl Rose, and Alanis Morissette.
