Former Olympian Lisa Curry , 60, stated that more than two years after her daughter’s passing, she had taken it upon herself to disperse her daughter’s ashes in breathtaking locations. While traveling and hiking with some friends in Canada, she had the urge to do that. The mother of two posted a video on Instagram showing how she spread some of Jaimi Kenny’s ashes.

Lisa’s eldest child with her ex-husband Grant Kenny, Jaimi, passed away in 2020 after an 18-year battle with alcoholism and an eating disorder.
During their marriage, Lisa and Grant Kenny had three children: son Jett, 28, and daughters Morgan, 31, and Jaimi. They were married in 1984 and divorced in 2009.
Announcing Jaimi’s Passing
On September 14, 2020, Jaimi passed away at Sunshine Coast University Hospital in the company of her loved ones.

However, In March of 2022, Tragedy struck again as Lisa again experienced heartache after losing her mother Pat at 86.
Lisa penned a heartfelt caption as she thanked her mom for being a “wonderful mother”.
Scattering Her Daughter’s Ash Close To Heaven
Apparently, before spreading her daughters in Canada, Lisa had gone hiking at Australia’s tallest mountain and went along with Jamie’s ashes.
Hiked To The Top Of The Mountain For Jaimi
Lisa also hiked despite experiencing problems with her heart rate, but she told her doctor that she continued to take her beta blocker medicine and that she had “no issues” other than the fact that she had lactic acid buildup all over her body.
2 Years Later
The 60-year-old mourned her oldest daughter, Jaimi, second year death anniversary who unfortunately passed away in September 2020 at the age of 33, in a brief, but moving note posted to Instagram beside a lovely framed portrait of Jaimi with flowers and a lit candle.
Morgan Pays Tribute To Her Big Sister
Morgan Gruell, Jamie’s younger sister, also posted on social media on the anniversary of the death of her beloved sister, paying tribute to her with heartfelt words and images of the two of them on vacation in London and Paris.
