Sweet! Talking about the Terminator franchise is a lot of fun, isn’t it folks?
Well, I suppose that’s why you clicked on the article. Right-o then, let’s get to it!

So a new ‘Terminator’ is coming out.
It’s called “Dark Fate” (with Terminator obviously before that) and it’s gearing up to be a real freaking doozy of a film, dear readers.
Cause guess what, “they’re back”.
First, the story.
We’ve got a couple of good writers on this one, no big d. Just some guy named James Cameron?
I think he’s done a movie or two here and there.
Next, the actors.
We’ve got everyone’s favorite governor (not you, Kay Ivey, but you’re a close second) Arnold is back as the T-800 “Model 101”, apparently going by the name of Carl according to Wikipedia.
And, of course…
We have Linda Hamilton reprising her role as Sarah Conner, which is just as exciting if not more exciting.
Sarah Conner was one of the most badass women in film, and it’s good to see her back.
But all was not rainbows and lollipops on the set of ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’.
While fans are sure they worked fine together, director Tim Miller and Linda Hamilton butted heads at some point.
For starters…
She totally called him out in an interview with www.cinemablend.com , where she said he kept trying to film the movie “independent” and that she had no idea what that meant, even after filming it.
Apparently, they almost had her say some pretty bonehead, lame lines in the movie.
Good thing Linda Hamilton totally shut them down, because, like Sarah, she’s one tough freaking woman.
Lord, the woman hasn’t been relatable since she was a waitress!
Since then, she’s become a mental patient, a skilled survivor and overall, a total and complete badass lady.
I get it she’s the protagonist, we want to be able to relate to her so we can get into her struggle
But newsflash: she has a relatable goal. Protecting her son and humanity.
She says it best…
In the same interview I mentioned before, she said that whenever they would give her a bad line:
“I would go, ‘Nope, I am not saying that.’ And a couple of times I was like, ‘I am not saying that. That’s stupid.”
And honestly you have to give the woman kudos!
Especially in Hollywood (and for women everywhere, honestly) you never want to look like a priss and have people spread that about you.
Luckily…
Linda is not only an empowered woman (like her character, now I’m starting to see why this casting makes sense) but she has been playing this character for a while now.
After all these years, she’s kind of the authority on Sarah Conner.
No offense Tim Miller, but you just go here. Linda has been protecting John and the world for a time now.
And in the end the movie got made, so it couldn’t have been that much of an inconvenience.
And with Linda Hamilton’s input, I’ve got to say I’m even more excited to see this thing.
