Fans can’t get over how much Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter Lilibet Diana looks like the Queen when she was a toddler.
To mark their daughter’s first birthday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared a new photo of her via Instagram, taken at her birthday party. The photo has since been flooded with comments from fans calling her resemblance to her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, “uncanny.”
Fans can’t get over how much Lilibet Diana looks like her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, when she was her age.
Last weekend marked not only the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations but also Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s daughter’s first birthday.
On Monday, Markle and Prince Harry shared an adorable snap of Lilibet at her first birthday party.
The photo shows the toddler sitting in the grass, smiling, at her family’s U.K. home, Frogmore Cottage.
Lili, whose name pays tribute to the Queen’s childhood nickname given to her by her father, King George VI, has caught the attention of fans who think that she inherited a strong likeness to her father and the Queen herself, after a photo of her as a toddler surfaced on social media.
“What a resemblance,” one Instagram user penned , while another echoed, “Twins!”
“She looks just like her daddy and the Queen. The royal family’s genes are strong with this one!” someone else wrote.
“Same eyes as Queen but she definitely looks like daddy,” another added.

Another commenter chimed in: “Whew, daddy’s twin!” while someone else joked that Lili didn’t take any features from her mum.
“She’s so cute, but she could have taken something from her mom!” they wrote.
One person tweeted that Lili has a little bit of her mom, dad, grandmother, Princess Diana, and great-grandmother.
“I think she has Harry’s hair ad nose, Meghan’s eye shape and smile, the Queen’s cheekbones, and Diana’s rosy complexion. Setting aside the drama, I think we can all agree she’s adorable!” they wrote .
One Instagram user called out anyone arguing that Lili doesn’t look anything like the Queen.
“Anyone saying that she doesn’t look like the queen is saying it from a place of spite toward Meghan Markle ,” they wrote . “Because this child looks almost identical to the queen when she was her age. Same eyes, same cheeks, same complexion. It’s uncanny. She also OBVIOUSLY looks like her mom and dad. Those ginger genes are strong!! She’s so cute.”
