Lisa Marie Presley would’ve turned 55 yesterday, Feb. 1, if she didn’t die of a heart attack about two weeks before. The Presley family and fans have been mourning the loss of the singer since her death on Jan. 12, including her mother, Priscilla .

Priscilla has been heartbroken since her daughter’s passing but felt more pain yesterday as it was supposed to be a celebratory moment. She wrote an open note to her late daughter detailing her intent for the family in the wake of Lisa Marie’s passing.

Priscilla alleges that there are discrepancies with the signature in the final will, especially because she was once a joint trustee alongside Lisa Marie’s former partner, Barry Siegel. However, that was before Lisa Marie cut ties with the partner and her eldest daughter, Riley surpassed the legal age in 2016.
All Iterations Of The Will
Per People , the singer wrote a first will in 1993, then amended it in 2010, including Priscilla and Siegel as trustees. However, once she discovered the latter was mismanaging her funds, Lisa Marie made a codicil in 2016 naming all her children as the sole trustees.
Custody Battle For The Twins
Representatives of all the parties involved haven’t responded to requests from the media. The family intends to resolve this issue quietly. Meanwhile, Harper and Finley are in the center of a custody battle between their grandmother and father.
No Official Cause Of Death
For now, the cause of death is ruled as an apparent heart attack while the family awaits the results from the Chief Medical Examiner’s office.
