The world of fashion is a lot like the world of sports : both require strategy, the players must possess a certain kind of finesse, and there are most definitely winners and losers. At the height of all fashion looks comes one family: The Kardashian-Jenner clan. And Kim Kardashian wasn’t the only one making headlines this year at the Met Gala.
Sometimes in fashion, as is true in sports, you strike out and are made to look silly . Such was certainly the case for Kylie Jenner after Twitter positively lambasted her for her questionable Met Gala look.

Every year when the Met Gala rolls around, people like me refresh their phones to keep their eyes peeled on what outfits celebs will wear this year.
There are always some notable celebs who turn up to every (or most) Met Galas and blow us away with their very on theme or just generally beautiful outfits.
Blake Lively, Zendaya, and Rihanna are names that come to mind when it comes to best dressed.
And while there is also a place for those worst dressed, I think we need to come up with a category for outfits that just make you say: ‘what?’
There is one family that always knows how to keep people on their toes when it comes to their fashion choices.
And that family is the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Whether it’s because they’re reinventing fashion, or have a look that they can only pull off, they certainly know how to make headlines.
And Kylie Jenner has done it again.
She came to the Met Gala in a wedding dress and a baseball cap. Not too sure what the goal was or the statement she was trying to make, but she certainly had our attention.

The reality TV star and founder of Kylie Cosmetics wore a white sheer t-shirt, complete with a billowing princess skirt — topped off with a white fishnet veil and an oversized baseball cap.
Fashion has historically been a divisive topic.
Yet the whole internet appears to be in agreement about how Kylie missed the mark.
Twitter user @Friendsdontli15 couldn’t help but notice how similar Kylie’s dress looked to one that Homer Simpson wore in Season 4’s “Marge In Chains” episode .
Others saw fit to point out what an eyesore they found Kylie’s dress to be.
I certainly wasn’t in love with Kylie’s dress by any means, but to suggest that it had viewers running for the eyewash station seems a bit much.
One Twitter user tried their best to be impartial, but couldn’t look past the glaringly obvious.
It’s tough to argue otherwise. Kylie looks as if she’s been caught halfway between appearing in a commercial for Royale bathroom tissue and throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at the Yankees game. It’s a proverbial “foul ball” if ever there was one.
One thing is for sure.
Kylie achieved what I can only assume was the goal: she got people talking about her and her outfit at the Met Gala.
And at the end of the day, that’s pretty much what it’s all about.
