Kris Jenner has written heartbreaking words to her late sister Karen Houghton on what would have been her 67th birthday.
She wrote a tribute for her

Jenner took to Instagram on Monday, November 24, to write a tribute to her younger sister Karen Houghton.
She wrote, “Happy heavenly birthday to my beautiful sister Karen,” on what would have been Houghton’s 67th birthday.
Jenner said she’s constantly thinking about her

“I think about you every single day… I miss you, I love you, and I know you’re watching over all of us,” the 70-year-old reality TV star wrote.
Jenner’s post included multiple throwback photos of her with her sister as well as other loved ones.
Their family were also in the photos

The throwback photos also included their mother, Mary Jo Shannon, as well as Jenner’s children, Kourtney Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Kim Kardashian.
Karen died on March 18, 2024 at the age of 65 ‘unexpectedly’. Jenner shared the news online at the time.
She wrote a lengthy statement

In a statement on Instagram at the time, Jenner wrote, “It is with the heaviest heart and deepest sadness that I share that my sister Karen passed away yesterday unexpectedly.”
Jenner added that her ‘heart aches’ for their mother and Houghton’s daughter Natalie.
She wrote some emotional words

“Karen was beautiful inside and out. She was the sweetest, kindest, the most sensitive and vulnerable and so so funny,” Jenner expressed of her sister.
She later also added, “She holds such a huge part of my heart and I cherish every single memory we have together.”
Houghton died from cardiac arrest

According to the death certificate obtained by TMZ at the time, Houghton died from cardiac arrest. The certificate also listed Type 2 diabetes as a secondary underlying cause of death.
Kris and Karen were raised together in San Diego, California, but Karen lived her life out of the spotlight.
Kim Kardashian also wrote her a tribute

Following Houghton’s tragic death, Kim Kardashian also shared a post paying tribute to her late aunt. She posted a series of photos of the two together from when Kim was a baby and through her teenage years.
“I love you so much auntie Karen,” the 45-year-old SKIMS founder wrote at the time.
