It’s very rare that the Kardashian family keeps anything a secret — and that’s no shade to them, it’s literally their job. As a reality TV star, I imagine it’s difficult to keep things hush-hush, especially when you’re a part of one of the most famous families in the world.
However, the youngest Kardashian sister has been keeping fans in the dark about the mysterious bandage that appeared on her face a few weeks ago.
Finally, Khloé is revealing what exactly has been going on.
For the Kardashian + Jenner family, social media is everything.
Fans take notice of everything and are quick to comment on anything that looks out of the norm. From Facetune fails to photoshop blunders, there is nothing their fans won’t notice.
So naturally, fans have been concerned for several weeks after sister Khloé was photographed with a bandage on her face.
To be clear, this wasn’t a one-time thing. For weeks now, fans have been speculating about what is going on with the 38-year-old.
Finally, fans have some answers!
Taking to her Instagram stories on Tuesday, the mom of two shared what’s been going on.
Khloé began by addressing the “numerous stories going around about the ever-evolving bandage on my face.”
She explained that she decided to get a “small bump” checked out seven months after realizing “it was not budging” after first thinking it was “something as minor as a zit.”
After chatting with two dermatologists and undergoing two biopsies, the reality TV star was advised: “to have an immediate operation to remove a tumor.”
She explained that what the doctors were seeing on her face “was incredibly rare for someone my age.”
“All my margins appear clear and now we move on the healing process,” she shared with her 276 million Instagram followers. “
“You’ll continue to see my bandages and when I’m allowed, you’ll probably see a scar (and an indentation in my cheek from the tumor being removed) but until then I hope you enjoy how fabulous I’m making these face bandages look.”
She explained that she wanted to share her story with fans so that they can be on the lookout for similar bumps.
“I was lucky and all I have is a scar to tell a story with,” she said in a later IG story post. “Most people aren’t as lucky as me and I am forever thankful.”
