She changed the wording to, “Forget you and your dad and the fact that you got half / And my broken heart, turn that sh*t into art.”

Social media users had a field day dissecting the meaning behind the changed lyrics as many cheered Clarkson. Someone wrote that the pop singer was putting Brandon and Narvel on some “serious blast.” A second fan penned, “Kelly Went for blood ln this lyric rewrites and she got it.”
She Received Support For The Twist
Many media users thought Clarkson was right to air her views via Gayle’s song as someone cheered her on to”drab him!!!.” This utterance appeared to be a reference to her ex-husband. Updates On Her Lawsuit With Narvel
Clarkson and her father-in-law are still very much in the heat of their legal woes, and as of April 1, the music star presented a new piece of evidence against Narvel. Lawyers from both parties presented new evidence regarding the California Labor Commision. The evidence was provided in support of both parties’ cases as Clarkson and Narvel’s Starstruck Management Group go head-to-head over alleged unpaid dues.
Inside Clarkson’s Lawsuit With Her Ex-Father-in-Law
Shortly after the Stronger crooner filed for divorce from Brandon in 2020. Narvels slammed her with a lawsuit claiming that she failed to pay the management company, the rightful commission. The allegations included a $1.4 million debut and an additional $5.4 million for future commissions. Marvel delayed that this was according to their original agreement that she would pay 15% of her income to the company.

The Catch My Breath singer filed a countersuit stating that Narvel’s company violated the California Labor Code. According to the countersuit, the Blackstocks were not licensed for their job description. Narvel in his lawsuit stated that the company managed Clarkson for over ten years.

The legal paperwork from Starstruck Management claimed that she did not pay her total commission for The Kelly Clarkson Show and The Voice . After her countersuit, Narvel fired back stating that the Underneath The Tree singer “conveniently” left out the fact that she had another talent agency at the time she worked with him. He accused her of trying to avoid paying the commissions. He also accused her of trying to “achieve some perceived advantage in her ongoing custody and divorce proceedings.”

As of March 2022, a judge ruled that Brandon will get $115,000 in spousal support until January 2024. He is also to receive $45,600 in child support. He was also to remain in the couple’s ranch until June and must pay Clarkson $12,500 in monthly rent until then.

Brandon would fire back at his ex-wife’s fraud claims stating that she was not entitled to any payments regarding the money Starstruck made while working with her. His attorneys relayed that Brandon and Narvel were not subject to the Talent Agencies Act in California because they did not perform their duties in the state.
