Recently, fellow judge Luke Bryan made a comment about Katy not shaving her legs. But as the pop icon puts it — she doesn’t have the time. Katy is far too busy cuddling with her daughter .
People have a LOT of opinions on women having body hair.
Even though, you know, it’s completely NATURAL.
But because of societal expectations, people expect women to be as smooth as a baby.
Lately though, more and more women (including celebrities) are flaunting their body hair.
Whether it’s because they’re too busy to shave, or they’re trying to make a point, they are looking flawless as they do it.

She posted a series of Instagram pics in this blue dress with gloves, and as you can see, she’s showing off her armpit hair.
For the most part, fans rallied behind her with nothing but positive comments.
After all, she does look absolutely stunning.
She definitely wasn’t the first celeb to do so, and she definitely won’t be the last.
In fact, Katy Perry is the next celebrity who had to defend the fact that she hadn’t touched a razor in a while!
This year on *American Idol*, Katy Perry revealed that she’d stopped shaving her legs.
It happened after a performance by contestant Cassandra Coleman .
Katy explained that after the birth of her daughter Daisy, that she’d stopped shaving her legs.

“As a new mother, I don’t have very much time, so I have quit shaving my legs.” she said.
Which, honestly, is a mood for a lot of new mothers (or even just mothers in general).
Recently, Katy shared a video on her Instagram story of her and fellow judge, Luke Bryan.
Luke chose this moment to address his issues with Katy’s lack of leg shaving. “I know you’re a mom and everything,” Luke joked, “but we gotta do something about this leg hair .”
Katy went on to say that Cassandra’s performance not only caused the hair on her legs to stand up but also to grow another inch!
And I think we can all agree with her on that one. It’s an incredible performance.
Katy took the slight in stride and fired back with the perfect response:
“No, I don’t got time!” Katy clapped back. “I’d rather cuddle with my daughter!”
Unsatisfied with her answer, Luke persisted and tried to push the conversation even further.
Luke continued by saying “It is literally…” but was cut-off before he could even finish the thought.
Katy interjected with a hard and sharp “Yeah!” which seemed to drive the point home for her co-star to change the subject.
Which honestly, had not only me, but may other women APPLAUDING!
A word to the wise, gentlemen — don’t let your own convoluted ideals of feminine beauty come between a mother and her newborn!
