Kids — they say the darndest things, don’t they? Well, as Princess Catherine of Wales has recently demonstrated, kids really are all the same — regardless of if they’re royal or not.
In a video that has recently been making its way across the internet, Kate Middleton is revealing what her children have to say about her engagement photos all these years later.

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 12 YEARS since Prince William proposed to his on-again, off-again university girlfriend, Kate Middleton, back in November 2010.
As fans will recall, the pair married 5 months later in April 2011. Kate was 29 at the time while Wills was 28.
Fast forward to today, the pair have welcomed three children together and Prince William is the heir to the throne.
It’s safe to say a lot has changed since these two got engaged all those years ago.
Recently, the Princess of Wales shared what her children think of her engagement photos while greeting the crowd in Swansea.
In a TikTok shared by account @mariahedges8, the Princess of Wales is greeting the crowd when she sees a flag with a photo of her and her husband from their engagement photo shoot.
“Oh my goodness that’s from our engagement! We always laugh about this,” she began.
“Although we’ve been married for 11 years, we’ve been together for double that so it’s extraordinary.”
“And the children look back at the photos and say, ‘Mummy you look so young!’” she joked, referencing her children Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and the iconic Prince Louis, 4.
For better or worse, I think many parents can relate to that type of brutal honesty from their kids.
To be fair, Kate looks essentially identical to her younger self. Wills, however, does look like a decade has passed.
