Last week, Jon Gosselin accused his ex-wife Kate of “stealing” $100,000 out of two of their kids’ trust funds. The two children, Hannah and Colin, are the two who live full-time with Jon.
Kate’s legal team defended the reality star at the time and is now turning the tables on Jon and claiming he is behind on child support payments.
As fans of the former TLC stars know, Jon and Kate Gosselin tied the knot in 1999.
After the family of ten — Jon, Kate, their twins Mady and Cara, and their sextuplets, Alexis, Collin, Joel, Hannah, Leah, and Aaden got their first TV special on Discovery Health in 2005, fans were obsessed.
They got their own reality TV show, “Jon and Kate Plus 8” with Discovery Health in 2007 for two seasons before the show moved to TLC.

In May 2009, it was reported that Jon had allegedly been unfaithful and Kate filed for divorce one month later.
Kate was awarded full legal custody of their children. Though the couple shared physical custody, in 2016 Jon claimed that he hadn’t seen all 8 of his children in three years.
Later that year, Kate revealed that Collin, one of the sextuplets, was in treatment for behavioral issues.
In 2018, it was revealed that sextuplet Hannah was living full-time in Pennsylvania with Jon. In December of that same year, Jon was granted sole custody of Colin.
Since then, it seems the sextuplets are still divided among the parents.
Earlier this month, Jon accused his ex-wife Kate of taking a combined $100,000 out of Hannah and Colin’s trust funds.
In documents obtained by UK publication The Sun, the former reality star admitted to making two separate withdrawals of $50,000 from two of her kids’ trusts — but claimed the money was taken “to survive.”
In the 2019 court filing, Kate claimed that assets from Hannah’s and Collin’s accounts were being used to “meet her and the children’s expenses.”
Coincidentally, the mom of eight ended up buying a $750,000 lakeside home in North Carolina that same year.
“It’s disgusting and it’s morally wrong,” Jon told The Sun.
“Parents are not supposed to withdraw any money from these accounts without permission and without drawing up paperwork that they will pay it back — but she has produced no paperwork and no payments have been made.”
Yikes, right? Well, Kate’s legal team is now turning the tables on Jon.
“Kate’s integrity is impeccable. I can’t say the same for Jon Gosselin” Richard J. Puleo told “Us Weekly” in regards to Jon’s accusations.
“He clearly owes her $132,875 in child support, not counting interest, from the day it was entered.”
Jon has yet to comment on these allegations.
