Does anyone else ever forget that not all Canadians are related? I know it’s a big country, but sometimes it just feels so small, and like everybody knows everybody, especially when it comes to celebrities.
It turns out that’s not that far off, according to some research done by none other than Justin Bieber.

Justin made a startling discovery using Ancestry.com.
While this chart he found is… incomprehensible to me, it seems to be suggesting that Ryan Gosling is his 11th cousin once removed, and Avril Lavigne is his 12th cousin.
“It seems super legit it’s on ancestry.com,” Justin wrote.
He captioned the image with, “I also just found out that I’m related to both Ryan Gosling and Avril Lavigne. This is the best day of my life.”
Avril made a kind offer.

No official word from Ryan Gosling if he’s free for this Christmas dinner, but as a Canadian I can only imagine that he’s too polite to say no.
