Recently, the star posted a gorgeous selfie on Instagram, wherein she’s showing off a healthy patch of body hair. And if you have a problem with that, Julia is ready to tell you exactly where you can go.
Julia Michaels is telling all of her haters to go eat worms — literally.
Recently, the 27-year-old singer posted a radiant selfie via Instagram.
Fans and naysayers couldn’t help but notice that the photo was clearly taken in order to highlight Julia’s abundance of armpit hair .
The young star explained how she was tired of being critiqued for her body.
“People are always going to have something to say about you or your body ,” Julia wrote. “They will always try to attack you when you’re feeling the most happy or the most yourself you’ve ever been.”
To those people who only have something negative to say, Julia has a clear and concise message:
“To that, I say go eat a bag of worms ,” Julia cheekily wrote. If she sounds frustrated, it’s because she is.
As many fans are no doubt already aware, this isn’t the first time Julia has received backlash for her body hair.
The first time Julia made a public statement regarding body hair was at the Grammys.
She tweeted out that she was never going to shave her armpits again and furthermore — that she never really understood why she ever shaved them in the first place.
