Jojo Siwa’s mom, Jessalynn, had something to say after her daughter got really emotional over homophobic comments Mickey Rourke made. The 50-year-old posted a quick two-minute video on her social Instagram just after the first Celebrity Big Brother eviction.
Rourke recently made some shocking comments about Jojo’s sexuality

He ended up getting called out by Big Brother for the stuff he said to Jojo about her sexuality. At one point, he actually said he was “going to vote the lesbian out real quick.”
He didn’t stop there either. He also told her that she “won’t be gay anymore” if they stayed in the house together for more than four days.
Mickey has already been stirring up trouble on the show

Before all this, people were calling him a “creep” after he leered at host AJ Odudu during his entrance. And then, he made Patsy Palmer cry after going way too hard on her cooking.
Jojo’s mom, Jessalynn, shared her feelings in an Instagram video

“I’m really sad though that I sent my kid to a foreign country to do a TV show and she got treated like that, right away,” she said. “Right out of the gate.”
She did say she was proud of how Jojo handled it. “I think she handled it great. Everyone has told me that she handled herself so well, but that doesn’t make it okay. Doesn’t make it right.”
Jessalynn spoke up about everything

She said she wasn’t shocked at all that Rourke didn’t go home, but what really got to her was how tough things had been for Jojo on Celebrity Big Brother. She said she was “really sad” seeing what her daughter had to deal with in there.
Jojo was already getting bullied before
Jessalynn said that Jojo’s just gotten used to all the hate over the years, dealing with nonstop criticism online for so long made her tougher.
“It’s kind of become a culture, it’s become a game, it’s a trend,” Jessalynn said. “‘Let’s not like her, let’s like her, let’s make fun of her, let’s tell her she’s a bad dancer’.”
Right after Jessalynn’s post went up, the comments section blew up with support

Tons of Jojo’s fans were showing her love and saying she handled the whole Rourke thing “with dignity and class.”
One person wrote, “JoJo is so strong and you raised her well. What Mickey did is so not okay.”
Another added, “Mickey Rourke trying hard to be noticed and relevant. Only way he can do that is to behave terribly.”
But Rourke got what he deserved
A rep from Celebrity Big Brother confirmed that Rourke will be leaving the show after having more talks about his actions. Rourke’s spokesperson, Kimberly Hines, defended him, saying that he “speaks from his heart” and is “100 percent authentically himself.”
