It’s been six years since John Stamos and Glen Powell stripped down to their birthday suits on Scream Queens, but the actors aren’t over their moment. Two months ago, Stamos shared the picture in tribute to his friend Powell’s 34th birthday.
Stamos wished the “blonde behind the dick sign” a Happy Birthday via Instagram while commending his work throughout the year. Those works include the record-breaking Top Gun: Maverick and Devotion.

Celebrating In Their Birthday Suits
The original scene featured the men who played Chad Radwell (Powell) and Dr. Brock Holt (Stamos) stranded in Dean Munsch’s (Jamie Lee Curtis) hospital. They competed for Chanel (Emma Robert)’s love and did the most bizarre things.
Despite Powell’s discomfort, Stamos didn’t mind getting naked, which shows their different personalities. They were discussing their interest in Chanel in a shower scene as Brock listed all the qualities that made him “better” than Chad.
Familiar Territory For Stamos
Scream Queens wasn’t the 59-year-old actor’s first nude scene in a movie or TV show. In fact, he has several of those in his resume, from Mr. Man to Knots (2004), My Best Friend’s Wife (2001), Never too Young to Die (1986), and Grandfathered (2015 – 2016).
There’s no need further proof that Stamos is comfortable in his skin. Filming the nude scene on Scream Queens was Stamos’ way of pushing the envelope. Before that, he’d never played a character like Dr. Brock Holt, and it was interesting for him to explore it.
Merging ‘Full House’ With ‘Scream Queens’

In an old interview, when asked how he got away with playing unconventional roles, Stamos admitted that he believed he’s inherently likable. Also, Scream Queens gave him another mainstream persona that could compete with Uncle Jesse from Full House.
He hoped to carry his fanbase from Full House to Scream Queens, and it worked. Now, Stamos is on Big Shot, another culture-resetting sports comedy series. He plays the temperamental basketball coach at an all-girls high school. The show is in its second season and has above-average ratings across the board.
New Territory
Last month, Stamos confirmed his new bearded look was for a movie role in the upcoming Jessica Simpson-inspired movie, Open Book. Amazon’s Freevee would produce and distribute the 30-minutes pilot.
Stamos would once more take on a new role as he plays a recovering alcoholic tasked with writing songs alongside an upcoming singer. He reckons this will be fun, and we’re as excited to see what he makes of it.
