Before Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez , the concept of a Hollywood power couple was vastly different. Without exaggeration, these two helped shape and redefine the way our entire world regards celebrities.
But much to our dismay they broke up and went their separate ways. Now, nearly 20 years later, Bennifer is back and have made their relationship Instagram official!
In the early 00s, “Bennifer” was the biggest power couple on the planet.
Ben and Jen met on the set of Gigli — one of the biggest box office bombs in cinema history.
Shortly thereafter, they began dating and at one point were even engaged to be married.

Over the past few years, both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez ended serious relationships.
Ben’s messy divorce from Jennifer Garner, as well as his subsequent stint in rehab for alcohol addiction, have been well documented. Likewise, Jen herself recently went through a very public split from former *MLB All-Star, Alex Rodriguez.
They even released a joint statement to *Today* about their split.
We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects.

This past April, rumors began to swirl that Jen and Ben were getting back together.
The Oscar-winning actor was spotted coming and going from J Lo’s California mansion on multiple occasions, according to PageSix.Com .
Despite the evidence to the contrary, both Ben and Jen maintained that they were just friends.
The speculation grew and grew due to photos of them out and about and cryptic messages that JLo posted on her Insta.
Lopez posted some cards with messages from famous authors about love and happiness.
“Where there is great love there are always miracles.” said one from Willa Cather.
There was another beautiful one by George Elliot that read:
“The comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person, having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all just as they are.”
But now, after months of speculation, it appears that the cat is now officially out of the bag.
Yesterday was Jen’s 52nd birthday . To celebrate, she posted a collage of photos of her and Ben relaxing out on the water.
The newly reunited couple shared an intimate kiss, thus confirming to the world that they are now Instagram-official!
And then, a few days later she was spotted wearing a necklace with the name “Ben” on it.
For the most part, people on the internet are absolutely obsessed with the couple just as they were back in the 2000s.
And of course, people are already thinking about their future since the couple is moving pretty quickly.
Then again, since they already did this journey once, maybe it feels super natural falling back into old habits.
