Fans were sad to hear that Channing Tatum and Jessie J had called it quits after just over a year of dating. Now, Jessie is lowkey addressing how she feels.
Channing Tatum and Jessie J were first spotted together back in October of 2018.
It came as a surprise to some fans, as Channing had announced his split to Jenna Dewan in April of that year.
Fans assumed the relationship was going strong.
Back in October of 2019, Jessie shared cute photos of the two out and about, not long after Jenna had spoken out about being “gutted” from their divorce.
Sadly, People Magazine confirmed that Channing Tatum and Jessie J had called it quits, just before Christmas.
It was reported that the cause of the split was simply because of the timing.
“He is super busy with his career and as a dad,” a source told People . “He has a world awaiting him and is trying to manage how busy he is which isn’t easy.”
“He has a lot on his plate right now and wants to be the best dad possible which means he needs to be around when he isn’t traveling for his own work,” another source said.
Neither one of them had commented on the split — until now.
In between posts about Christmas festivities, Jessie took to Instagram to share how she was feeling.
It’s pretty clear she’s still feeling emotional about the whole thing, and understandably so.
“Delayed emotions are….well….Not so fun,” she shared.
In a more recent post, Jessie shared a photo of herself at night, with a lengthy and emotional caption, ending with the phone number to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
