When it comes to Hollywood relationships, some couples like to keep their love life under lock and key.

It’s been less than a week since we learned that Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez were engaged.
They shared the announcement on Instagram, along with a picture of an incredible rock on her finger.
The two have been busy living their best engaged lives in the Bahamas.
We’re only the tiniest bit jealous, to say the least.
The well-wishes have been pouring in from friends and fans around the world.
And we’re just sitting here, patiently waiting for the wedding plans to unfold.
A-Rod shared a thank you message to his fans for all the support he and Jennifer had received.
He also shared a never-before-seen photo of the two, which lead to his next post…
“Locking it down,” he captioned the photo of the two as he got down on one knee to propose.
We’re hoping that the photographer captured the moment as it happened, and this wasn’t a recreation (which people do all the time apparently).
Jennifer shared even more photos on her Instagram.
Juding by pics, she really seemed genuinely surprised about the proposal, which is amazing.
Props to A-Rod for hiring a photographer to capture that moment.
Those are memories that are going to last forever. If you’re thinking of proposing — take note!
This ring is totally my favorite out of all her engagement rings. And look, this isn’t meant to be shady, but sis has kissed a *few* frogs before finding her prince charming.
Her first marriage to Ojani Noa only lasted a year , but the SIZE of the ring made it seem like it’d last for at least five.
Then Jennifer was engaged then married to Cris Judd, a former backup dancer.
The two were only married from 2001-2002, but pep that ROCK and tell me her love don’t cost a thing .
Pssssssh .
And then, there was the Affleck years. Ahhhh, such an iconic time in pop culture history.
The two never married , but the engagement ring was absolutely stunning and I still talk about it.
The ‘Ben’ ring was my long standing favorite, until A-Rod came around.
But we have to give an honorable mention to the ring from ex-husband Marc Anthony…
Jennifer Lopez was married to Marc Anthony for seven years.
Jennifer gave birth to their twins Max and Emma before calling it quits in 2011.
Life is funny, isn’t it?
