Jennifer Garner is looking forward to the big 5-0.
The Adam Project star turns half a century on April 17, which is also Easter Sunday. But instead of fearing it like many people do when they’re close to that age, Jen “can’t wait” for her birthday!
She even started a birthday countdown that you have to see.
There’s a lot that keeps Jennifer Garner feeling young.
It could be her silly personality, which she loves to show off on Instagram. She’s shared countless hilarious and relatable moments over the years, like when she showed off her old band uniform .
Or when she shared a video of herself checking in with her conscience to see if it was okay if she had a glass of wine and some chocolate on a Friday night.
The answer to this is always yes.
Her kids also keep her on her toes.
She has three kids, Violet, Samuel, and Seraphina Rose, with ex-husband, Ben Affleck. Being a mother has certainly been Jen’s favorite role to date, and their shenanigans certainly keep her always moving.
Recently, she even found herself in a hilarious mom fail.
While on The Late Late Show With James Corden , she recounted to James and Greg Kinnear how she accidentally hit “reply all” on a “funny” email that was intended just for their kids’ soccer coach.
Oh, Jen. Never change!

Feeling young means that turning 50 is no big deal.
In fact, Jen can’t wait for it! “My family has tickets to come out. My parents and my sisters, nieces, and nephews. I don’t know what we’ll do, but I can’t wait,” she told Extra at the premiere of The Adam Project .

On Day 48, she paid for a stranger’s coffee in a café. Then, on day 29, she did another random act of kindness by leaving flowers on cars.
Another reason Jen may be looking forward to her birthday is that she doesn’t look 50 at all!
Jen’s age has a lot of people fooled, like her Adam Project co-star, Mark Ruffalo.
The pair first worked alongside each other in the 2004 rom-com, 13 Going on 30 . “I would never guess Jen is 50,” Ruffalo told Extra .
Jen’s beauty philosophy is all about aging with grace.
“Beauty is as beauty does,” she told Extra . “Don’t look in the mirror, look out at other people.” Unlike many of her Hollywood peers, she avoids fillers and Botox.
“I want to look normal and I want to normalize looking normal,” she told ‘Today’ in December.
“I always have felt really strongly about that,” she said, adding that it’s an attitude she learned from her mother.
“She said as you get older, the temptation is to stare into the mirror and focus on what’s changing, and here’s the secret: Don’t look!” she told ‘Glamour.’
“ Just care less , be grateful that you’re getting older, and use the time you have to be leaving the world a little bit better.”
