Why are we freaking out? Someone is attempting to take on Jason Momoa’s name to scam innocent fans!
It’s true! Someone hacked his e-mail accounts!
Sources report that some fiend has been using Momoa’s accounts, sending out e-mails to his fans and friends.
Sometimes this scammer presents themselves as Momoa himself, while other times he pretends to be the superstar’s assistant.
Sending out e-mails like:
“Dear Miss [redacted]. My name is Jean Victoria and I am the executive assistant for Game of Thrones and Aquaman actor Jason Momoa, Jason is very interested in having you join him in a movie project he will doing next year, if you can get back to us ASAP with a contact number, Jason is filming right now and said he will be happy to call you back personally.”
Jason Momoa is, understandably, pissed
He said “If u got this email sorry it is not from its from some f—ing coward thief. I hope I find you” on Instagram.
I would not like to have Jason Momoa after me. That seems like a losing game.
You wanna know the worst part?
This isn’t even the first time that the actor has gotten hacked.
Yes, apparently big-time actors who have a huge social media presence are ripe for getting hacked. Wow, who knew!
Apparently his Instagram was hacked in September 2019.
And the hacker was offering to hand out free iPhones!
Looks like Jason Momoa will have to change all his passwords to his accounts moving forward!
