Jason Momoa took to Instagram to write an open apology to Chris Pratt, after publicly tearing him a new one for drinking out of a single-use plastic water bottle.
So, a couple of days ago Jason Momoa publicly dragged Chris Pratt for drinking out of a single-use plastic water bottle.
Since the planet is sorta in danger, Jason feels very passionate about the environment — as we probably all should.

Chris took to Instagram to share a photo of himself sipping out of the aforementioned single-use plastic water bottle, unknowingly triggering Jason Momoa.
He said what the rest of us environmentalists were thinking, as plastic is absolutely terrible for our beloved Mother Earth.
“Bro i love u but wtf on the water bottle,” he wrote. “No single use plastic. come on.”
Just how serious is Jason Momoa about eliminating single-use plastics?
Very. He literally started his own alternative method of plastic water bottles.
Just last month, Jason released a canned water company called, “Mananalu”.
His brand offers water packaged in aluminum cans — similar to a can of soda — in order to cut back on single-use plastic drinking bottles, which, as we all know, pollutes oceans around the globe.
He first announced “Mananalu” back in April, along with the famous video of him shaving off his beard for the first time in seven years.
“About 75 percent of all aluminum that’s ever been used is still in circulation today, and it’s 100 percent recyclable,” Jason said in the video .
“You drink the can, and in about 60 days it’ll be back.”
“A change for the better…for my kids, your kids, the world,” he captioned the video on Instagram .
“Let’s make a positive change for the health of our planet.”
“Let’s clean up our oceans, our land. Join me on this journey. Let’s make the switch to infinitely recyclable aluminum. Water in cans, not plastic,” he concluded .

Anyway, while he made a very thoughtful and valid point, his comment blew tf up.
Fans thought that Jason’s comment came off a little too aggressive.
Eventually, due to all the speculation, Jason began to feel like maybe he went a little bit too hard on Chris.
Maybe tough love was not the way to go?
To clarify that his comment was in no way a reflection of how he feels about Chris, but rather, simply a concerned citizen of our planet, Jason sent out an apology on Instagram.
“BRO you know my children and I are madly in love with you and I love everything you do,” he began .
“I’m sorry this was received so badly today”.
“I didn’t mean for that to happen. I’m just very passionate about this single use plastic epidemic,” he continued .
“The plastic water bottles have to stop,” he demanded.
“I hope u make a reusable water bottle for amazon so we all can purchase.”
Or, you know, he can simply purchase any of the reusable water bottles that already exist.
“You’re an inspiration to many I’m one of them.”
“I’ll send you a case of MANANALU. All my Aloha, Da Momoa’s,” he concluded .
So far, it doesn’t look like Chris has responded yet (awks).
But fingers crossed that this was an eye-opener for him and that he invests in a reusable water ASAP.
