A viral shirtless pic of medalists Nicolò Martinenghi, Thomas Ceccon, and Gregorio Paltrinieri has caught the attention of thousands, with many fans focusing more on their physiques than their shiny new medals.

Thomas Ceccon, from Vincenza, took home the gold in the men’s 100m backstroke on July 29.
Embed from Getty ImagesThe 23-year-old swimmer has been a rising star in the sport, and his victory in Paris was a dream come true. In an interview with Rai News, Thomas opened up about his journey to gold.
“When I was a kid, I used to go to training with Alberto (the coach, ed.) by car. He asked me what my dream was. I said I wanted to win the Olympics, and he said, ‘Calm down, one thing at a time,’” Ceccon said.

Nicolò Martinenghi, hailing from Varese, also struck gold in the 100m breaststroke. His powerful swimming performance cemented his status as one of Italy’s top athletes — not a small feat.

Ceccon shared the viral pic on his Instagram stories with the cheeky caption, “The favorite swimmers of your favorite swimmers.”
If their medals weren’t enough of a confidence boost, the reactions to their shirtless photo certainly would be. One user dubbed them the “Holy Trinity,” and another joked, “Italian girl dinner.”
The comments kept rolling in, with gems like “Yay sports!” and “I knew watching the Olympics would pay off.”
