Celebrity relationships tend to be a bit rocky, their lives steeped in drama that we all get to watch as their lives are so public, but sometimes there’s a couple so perfect for each other we can’t help but feel butterflies ourselves!
That’s how we feel about Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness , a wonderful couple who have been together over 25 years! Though, Furness has one boundary for Jackman that raises a few eyebrows.

Hugh Jackman’s love for his wife is well documented.
He and Deborra-Lee Furness met while working on the set of Corelli in 1995, got married in 1996, and have been together ever since!
Jackman has said that “two weeks into meeting” Furness, he knew they “were going to be together for the rest of [their] lives.”
No couple is without their boundaries, though.
Given Jackman’s stardom and widely carried career, he’s worked alongside many female co-stars, creating some wonderful films in the process.
However, there’s one actress that Furness has said she never wants to see Jackman work with.
She shared who it was on an episode of the ‘Today Show’.
She said that she had taken steps to ensure he’d never work with one Angeline Jolie, saying, “I’ve told his agent he’s not allowed to work with Angelina.”
She did quickly reveal that she was only joking.
“I’m sure she’s lovely,” she continued, “I’m just kidding.”
She then went on to say that she actually admires Jolie, and commended all the actress has done for adoption and world aid.
Jackman did respond to her rule going public.
He spoke to Entertainment Tonight and said, “Deb and I have been married for 20 years. We have a lot of rules. We’ve very balanced. So she said that – as long as she doesn’t work with Brad Pitt, we’re cool.”
And hey, they’ve both stayed true to their word!
Neither have starred in anything with the celeb their partner said was off limits, though now I’m craving a movie featuring all four of them together.
Jackman and Furness’ love is one for the ages.
They’ve been together 26 years now, and Jackman never spares an opportunity to praise her.
“Every single day is filled with so much laughter, joy and backgammon!!!!” he wrote in the caption of an Instagram post celebrating their anniversary, “Deb you light up my life. I love you with all my heart!”
There’s no denying they’re a model celebrity couple.
One that’s more on the low-key side too. They’re more on the private side, and for a high-profile relationship, that can be pretty rare these days!
We wish them many more years of happy marriages and no upcoming movies starring Jackman and Jolie.
What we will be seeing is Hugh Jackman alongside Ryan Reynolds.
The two stars have recently announced that Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine for the upcoming Deadpool movie. Given the two actors’ wholesome frenemies relationship , we can’t wait to see them on the big screen together!
