The Basic Instinct actress spoke at a Hollywood gala recently, where she broke down as she gave a speech. The $50 million she is said to be worth might be half of that if her words are true.
‘Just Lost Half My Money’
Addressing the crowd, Sharon shared: “I just lost half my money to this banking thing and that doesn’t mean that I’m not here.”

It’s not known if Sharon had an account with SVB. The 65-year-old was attending the Women’s Cancer Fund.
Biggest Banking Failure?
Last week, SVB collapsed, making it one of the largest banking failures in financial history. Also going under has been Signature Bank. Combined, the two are being slated as being on a par with the collapse of Washington Mutual Bank during the 2008 financial crisis.
