About 14 years after the last Indiana Jones movie, we finally have the official announcement that a fifth one is on the way. Star Harrison Ford appears to be immensely proud of this entry, so much so that he got teary-eyed while talking about it.
He came out on stage to announce the movie and give his hopes for it, confirming that it would be the last one he’d do.
Disney’s D23 expo is on!

During this celebration, a great number of new Disney shows and films are announced so we may all get hyped for the next round of releases.
Among the upcoming film announcements was one for a new, and final, Indiana Jones entry.
The leading man himself, Harrison Ford, made a surprise appearance during the announcement.
He seemed just as excited about the movie as fans of the series must be, telling the audience, “I’m very proud to say that this one is fantastic,” he said as he teared up on stage, proving just how much he adores this series.
He laid out the film’s depths and the various themes present.

“These films are about mystery and adventure but they’re also about heart and I’m really happy that we have a human story to tell as well as a movie that will kick your ass.”
He did, however, say this “is it” for him playing Jones. “I will not fall down for you again.”

Another guest then came out on stage, Phoebe Waller-Bridge! She revealed that she’s also in the series’s final installment, saying that she had the time of her life making it.
“Keeping up with [Ford] is exhausting,” she joked.
We can’t wait to watch it!
