It’s hard to believe it’s only been 1 YEAR since Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton tied the knot . It was truly the wedding of 2021, and I’m still wondering how this only happened last year, and not a full decade ago.
To celebrate the milestone, both Blake and Gwen have taken to social media to mark their 1-year anniversary with super sweet tributes to one another.
As fans of the pair know, the country superstar and the pop princess have been together since 2015.
These two met and fell in love while being judges on The Voice . Naturally, fans were overjoyed when the pair announced they were engaged in October of 2020.
“Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!” Blake wrote on Instagram at the time.
The pair, who had planned to wed sooner if it had not been for the COVID-19 pandemic, finally got hitched last year!
The wedding took place at Blake’s Oklahoma ranch, where sources previously revealed he built a chapel with the intention of marrying his bride-to-be there.
I know, right? I cried too.
Fans were completely taken aback by how beautiful the wedding was.
“Dreams do come true,” Gwen captioned the first series of photos from their July 3rd nuptials.

The singer stunned in not one but two gowns, and Blake looked as handsome as ever!
As you may recall, Gwen’s two dresses featured hidden tributes to the most important men in her life.
People reported that Gwen’s ceremony veil was embroidered with her name, Blake’s names, and the names of her three sons — Kingston, 16, Zuma, 13, and Apollo, 8, who she shares with ex-Gavin Rossdale.
Her reception dress was a sassy, short number that had a huge tulle skirt and three lovebirds on it to represent her three boys.
It’s clear this pair is super sentimental, so I’m not surprised they marked their anniversary in such a loving way.
“Happy anniversary to the woman that makes my world go round…”Blake Shelton wrote alongside a sweet photo of the pair from their wedding day.
“Because of you, this year has been the best year of my life. I love you!!!! Thank you for saying yes!” he added.
Gwen took her post one step further by sharing a video montage of their special day, set to Elvis Presley’s classic love song, “Can’t Help Falling In Love.”
“One year down, forever to go,” the No Doubt alum wrote.
Well, it looks like Hollywood’s most unlikely pair is proving everyone wrong!
