Life can be so unpredictable sometimes. One minute you’re posing for a quick selfie and wearing a big smile; the next, you’re involved in a serious bike accident. Grant Denyer

The 45-year-old explained in the caption following his accident that he and Mick got involved in the crash while he tried to do the side-by-side wheelies.
The TV host posed for a quick selfie with a friend and colleague before heading out on the bicycle.
A Great Training Partner
Denyer thanked his friend Mick for being an awesome training partner as he exchanged comments with his cyclist friends and revealed he ended up in the scrub.
Denyer For Bathurst 12 Hour

Denyer will participate in the Bathurst 12 Hour, which will be held between Friday and Sunday. That explains why he was training so hard.
The Bathurst 12 Hour

Currently known as the Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour, the event is an endurance race for GT and production cars and usually holds at the Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, Australia.
First Held In 1991
The race was first held in 1991 for Series Production cars and then moved to Sydney’s Eastern Creek Raceway in 1995. It was discontinued and then revived in 2007 for production cars before adding a new category for GT3 and other GT cars in 2011.
International Exposure

So far, eighteen races have taken place, Seventeen at Mount Panorama and one at Eastern Creek Raceway (Sydney Motorsport Park). The introduction of new classes of cars led to major international and domestic exposure for the event.
Denyer’s Racing Journey
The sportsman has a special kind of love for car racing and has competed in the Sandown 500, Bathurst 1000, and Australian GT championship.
Deadly Accident In 2008

He’s certainly not new to crashes as he was involved in a near-fatal “monster truck” accident while training for the Monster Truck Championship at Dapto Showground in 2008.
Long Road To Recovery

He dealt with the effects of the accident that left him with severe spinal injuries and a long journey to recovery. We can’t wait to see him perform at Bathurst this year.
