Hadid shared Khai’s picture on New year’s Eve in a now-expired story saying, “Happy New Year y’all.” Since the model used the story feature, fans only had 24 hours to see the beautiful Khai before the picture disappeared.

Hadid’s post still maintained Khai’s privacy as she showed her 76.5 million followers a snippet of the toddler’s frame. Khai sat on her mother’s legs wearing cute white pajamas printed with black and yellow designs and clutched a golden-yellow Prada purse.

Hadid had Khai in September 2020 with her ex-boyfriend, Zayn Malik, who she dated on/off for seven years. The two finally split in 2021 following a heated fight in their residence and rumored tensions between Malik and Gigi’s mother, Yolanda.

It was love at first sight for Hadid after birthing Khai at home, according to an old interview with Vogue last Spring.

Pieces in the Guest in Residence line are 100% cashmere knits; although they don’t bear her name, “Gigi Hadid,” her prints are all over. During its launch, Hadid told Harper’s Bazaar that she wanted to create something that makes people feel good.
