The renowned golfer Tiger Woods, 49, found love with Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife, Vanessa Trump, 47, and tried to make the best out of the privacy he had before the news got out.
The news caused an uproar in the sports and entertainment world but not for Trump Jr., as he claimed to be okay with the couple dating.
An insider blew the whistle
A source that is close to the Trump family confirmed the news to People that the pair have been secretly dating for several months. The insider also confirmed that Trump Jr. is “cool” with his ex-wife dating Woods.
The DailyMail was the first to report the news.
Vanessa and Trump Jr. were a thing first
The couple were married for 12 years before Vanessa filed for divorce in 2018. They both share a daughter, Kai, 17, and four others.
Since their split, Vanessa hasn’t been under the spotlight much, up until now.
They both have countless things in common
Both Woods and Trump live 20 minutes apart in Florida but they still don’t live together, but she comes over to his place, according to a source that reported to the DailyMail.
Additionally, Kai is a top golfer herself, so much so that she plans to play for the University of Miami and will join the team in the fall, according to Golfweek.
The couple were spotted together before the announcement
On February 16, the couple and Kai were spotted together, attending a tournament in Florida.
Furthermore, on February 20, US President Donald Trump honored Woods during a reception made in honor of Black History Month.
The happy news came after some tragic ones
The news about the couple being together came two days after Woods announced that his left Achilles tendon had been ruptured, saying: “As I began to ramp up my own training and practice at home, I felt a sharp pain in my left Achilles, which was deemed to be ruptured.”
He underwent a minimally invasive procedure
“This morning, Dr. Charlton Stucken of Hospital for Special Surgery in West Palm Beach, Florida performed a minimally invasive Achilles tendon repair for a ruptured tendon,” the caption continued.
“‘The surgery went smoothly, and we expect a full recovery,’ added Dr. Stucken. I am back home now and plan to focus on my recovery and rehab, thank you for all the support,” he concluded.
He also lost his mother in February
Wood’s mother, Kultida, passed away on February 4 of this year aged 81. He called her “a force of nature” and deemed her spirit “simply undeniable.”
So, for Woods to have this relationship with Trump could be just what he needs after the hardships he’s faced.
