An Unfortunate Cancer Diagnosis

Fran underwent a hysterectomy after receiving a uterine cancer diagnosis in 2000. She has not had the disease since.
Radical Surgeries
On June 21, 2000, Fran booked an appointment at the Los Angeles Cedars Sinai Hospital as advised by the expert. Fran was forced to get a radical hysterectomy right away, which involved extracting the uterus from her body, ruining any chance of her getting pregnant.

Thankfully, Fran has now been 12 years cancer-free. According to Page Six , Fran thinks that her cancer and being raped are connected. Recently, she revealed some personal information.

Two armed men entered Drescher’s Los Angeles flat in 1985. The other robber raped her while holding a gun to her head. She described it as a nightmare, and expectedly, it took her a considerable time to process the trauma she had experienced. She claimed the rapist is currently incarcerated and sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.

In her ever-bold manner, Fran authored her book called “Cancer Schmancer.” The book highlighted her battle with cancer.
