Taylor Hawkins, the longtime drummer for Foo Fighters and unfortunately passed away at 50 . The band released a statement on social media confirming the passing, with fans and friends replying with outpours of love and prayers.
Hawkins was born in Texas in 1972 and was once the drummer for Alanis Morissette until 1997, before he left and decided to join the Foo Fighters.

The band released a statement on social media. “The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins.” they wrote.
“His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever,”

“Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time.”
According to Semana in Colombia, Hawkins died in a hotel room ahead of a performance the Foo Fighters were meant to put on.
Since then , the band has since pulled out of the performance.
At this time no cause of death has been revealed.
Many flooded online to pay tribute to the late drummer.

Many musicians are crediting him for their inspiration for drumming. Friends and fans are sending outpours of love to the band, and his wife and three children, who he leaves behind.

Actor John Stamos shared the eerie last text he received from Hawkins.
