Back in 2011, Kim Kardashian was diagnosed with psoriasis. She was more than open about her struggles with it on Keeping Up With The Kardashians .
Years later, it’s still something she’s dealing with, and she’s still getting brutally honest about it.
Not everyone knows what psoriasis is.
According to Health Line , Psoriasis is a “chronic autoimmune condition that causes the rapid buildup of skin cells.”
It causes a buildup of cells which in turn cause scaling on the skin.
The most recent photos Kim shared to her Instagram story showed how she deals with particularly bad flare up.
And since Kim shares her struggle with psoriasis quite often, fans have come to expect and appreciate her advice.
She shared that she was trying a blueberry detox smoothie, as your diet can play a part in psoriasis flare-ups.
She shared a photo of her legs, which featured several red patches.
Psoriasis is something that people have to deal with for their entire life, so at least she has a good sense of humor about the whole thing, right?
She shared a selfie with suspiciously dark spots on her face.
She’s really going all out with these treatments, isn’t she?
Fans were naturally concerned about the selfie, but she clarified that it was just an herbal ointment.
Again, I’m loving that Kim can laugh at herself, and isn’t too bothered that these kinds of selfies are seen by millions.
Say what you want about Kim, but she isn’t afraid to live her truth.
If I have one pimple on my face I cry for three days and send no snaps.
Her fans were pretty excited to see that she’s sharing her struggles so candidly.
Kim does get a lot of hate on the daily, but it’s hard to shade her for this one.
TBH, A VULNERABLE QUEEN!
Having any sort of skin “imperfection” while being watched as much as the Kardashians are would invoke insecurity in anyone.
Those who also struggle with psoriasis agree that Kim is being relatable AF right now.

Kim using her huge Insta platform to raise awareness about the complications of Psoriasis could totally benefit millions in the end!
Which would be such a win!

Not everybody is here for Kim sharing her psoriasis struggles, possibly because she talks about it quite often.
Honestly, there’s nothing wrong with being able to share your struggles with something that your millions of fans might be able to relate to, so let’s let her live a little, ya?
And with season 16 (!!!) of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” premiering next month, I wonder if Kim’s Psoriasis will be touched on again.
