Kim Kardashian may be known for always looking picture-perfect, but that’s not to say that she doesn’t have her struggles.
Namely, psoriasis, the skin condition that has caused the star to develop red, scaly patches.
Now, it’s even developed into a new side effect: pigment loss.
Instead of just sitting down and taking it, the reality star is fighting back with her new secret weapon: her new KKW body makeup.
Trust us, these results are insane .
Kim Kardashian has never been shy about sharing her struggles with psoriasis.

If you didn’t know, psoriasis is an autoimmune disease that can result in red, scaly patches on the skin.
For the star, it’s primarily caused by genetics since mom, Kris, also has it.
Back in March, she showed fans the lengths she will go to manage the condition.

This meant wearing herbal ointment on her face to treat a flareup.
And somehow, she still looks fab.
She’s grown to stay positive despite her condition.

We love that she can joke about it sometimes!
This positive attitude is probably why she’s able to be so open about it.
She even alluded to how her struggles with psoriasis helped inspire her to create the KKW Beauty body foundation.

“I’ve learned to live with and not be insecure of my psoriasis,” she said in an Instagram post.
“But for days when I want to just cover it up I use this Body Makeup.”
Fans were so excited to get their hands on what she called her “ultimate body perfecting secret.”
The line has been a huge hit since it launched this past June.
Before launching, she got fans even more pumped up by showing them what her body makeup can really do.
In this vid, she showed a “before and after” difference by using the body makeup to cover a psoriasis flareup.
She even used it to cover up her 84-year-old grandma’s veins.
Like magic, the veins disappeared in a matter of minutes.
And now, Kim is getting even more candid by sharing a new struggle with the condition: pigment loss.

If you didn’t know, pigment loss is one of the three pigment abnormalities caused by psoriasis.
A doctor recently explained to “Prevention” that psoriasis causes inflammation of the skin.

This can result in “too much or too little pigment,” explains Gary Goldenberg, MD, assistant clinical professor of dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital.
While Kim’s body makeup isn’t “treating” the condition, it does do a great job of covering up the pigment loss.

Judging by this pic at least.
Using just her foundation and a brush, she walked fans through a thorough touch-up.

Her legs needed to be “dress-ready” since she was heading out to celebrate BFF, Larsa Pippen’s birthday.
She then finished everything off with her bronze shimmer powder.

In the past, she has said that she usually only uses shimmer to enhance her skin tone or to cover the psoriasis.
The end results are amazing!

Since her posts, fans have been applauding the star for getting so real about her struggles with the condition.
Including this fan who also suffers from some serious side effects.

Yay, Kimmy!
Who knew body makeup could change lives?
Move over, Kylie; there’s a new beauty mogul in the fam!
