However, Ellen has the best remedy to honor her friend, who she described as “pure light.”
Boss was hired to teach DeGeneres a dance from “So You Think You Can Dance” after he finished as the runner-up, according to a statement made by DeGeneres once. Following that, their friendship grew, and she invited him to the performance to serve as her right-hand man.
Even in the final weeks of her program, DeGeneres and tWitch shared an exceptional bond. When the show came to an end in May 2022 after 19 seasons, the two engaged in an emotional final televised conversation.
Working With Ellen
Boss began his role as a DJ on DeGeneres’ self-titled daytime program in 2014. He finally attained the position of executive producer in 2020 and remained with the program until its conclusion this past spring.
The well-liked DJ supported DeGeneres when her reputation suffered due to claims that her talk show was a “toxic” workplace.
Last Tuesday, Boss was discovered dead inside a Los Angeles motel room; an autopsy determined that he had shot himself in the head.
