In case you didn’t know, Dua Lipa is of Albanian descent. On Sunday, the President of Albania gave her citizenship recognizing how Lipa’s music has helped Albanians gain an international reputation. This came just before Albania’s 110th anniversary of its independence. Thanks to her music, the President claimed it an honor to do so, considering how famous Albanians are.
