Christina Aguilera is stunning the camera as she encourages fans to shop her Stripped merch. The iconic singer recently celebrated 20 years since the release of her 2002-dropped album, one also known for its music videos and Aguilera’s boxing ring-set Dirrty video. Xtina has been busy on Instagram as she invites fans to rejoice in celebrating the era from two decades ago. She’s even gone as far as recreating her bikini-clad Dirrty look in a share. Her collage of images and videos came with swimwear galore, and fans are loving it.
Turning Back The Clock
Xtina’s weekend Instagram post showed her in a variety of outfits as she struck sensual or s**y poses. She wore bandana, denim, and swimwear outfits – all very much channeled the early 2000s looks that recently got full coverage by Vogue .
The Voice judge wore heavy makeup and blue eyeshadow as she recreated her nose stud and bandana look from Dirrty . Here, Aguilera wore an asymmetric, see-through black crop top, belted acid-wash jeans, and heavy gold bangles. She rocked the exact same hair she’d made headlines for 20 years ago. Meanwhile, she added superimposed merch to the footage as she showed fans pieces from her Stripped merch collection.
Keeping It ‘Stripped’
One slide also showed Aguilera throwing her head to the side while in a mesh and crochet swimsuit that was very cut out. The mom of two here wore super thin eyebrows and a heavy red lip while letting her hair fly around. “Exclusive Stripped Merch available now,” she wrote.
Over 70,000 likes have been left. Also leaving one was Bravo star Erika Jayne.
Deluxe Album Release
Christina has also offered up beats to celebrate the 20-year anniversary.
“STRIPPED 2022! What better way to celebrate #20YearsOfStripped than with a new Deluxe version of my original album, including a brand new remix of ‘Beautiful’ by Benny Benassi ,” she told her IG followers as she built up buzz.
Opening Up
Xtina was 21 when she released Stripped . “I started writing scattered lyrics after the whirlwind of the first record and having a lot of males say opinions about me and rumors,” she told Rolling Stone , adding: “It was a lot to experience young and I wanted to put all that to paper and make a solid, heartfelt album.” Aguilera notably dealt with comments from rapper Eminem at the time.
