I think it’s pretty safe to say that most celebrities are pretty talented . After all, their jobs are to literally act, sing, dance, and do whatever it is they get paid to do .
But some celebs’ talents go beyond what we’ve come to expect. The celebrities in this list are famous for one thing , but have a lot of talents outside of that world.
Michael Dorn is a certified pilot.

Known for portraying Lt. Worf, one of the space-traveling characters of the Star Trek franchise, Dorn also enjoys taking off in the skies. Around the time he began working on Star Trek , Dorn began taking flight lessons .
Now, he can fly military jets.

Dorn recalled going for his license during the show’s seasonal hiatus. “I’d saved some money, so I went out to Gunnell Aviation at Santa Monica Airport and got my license.”
He also owns a number of former military jets.
David Duchovny is a published author.

Probably best known as agent Mulder from The X-Files , Duchovny is also a writer. In fact, he studied literature at Yale, and has a masters from the school. Somehow, he ended up acting instead.
For years, he seemingly gave up writing for good.

Over the last decade, he’s published four books , including 2021’s “Truly Like Lightning.” He’s also put music out, apparently. And he’s still acting. So basically, Duchovny can do it all.
Mads Mikkelsen used to be a dancer.

Before acting, Mikkelsen was a professional dancer, and was trained in both ballet and jazz. Before even that , though, the actor was at one point a gymnast. Of course, things changed when he began appearing in television and films.
But he did dance again in ‘Another Round.’
When discussing what it was like to dance for work again after so many years, he said, ” It was like saying hi to an old friend .” And based on the dancing scene from Another Round , he’s still got it.
Lisa Kudrow has a biology degree.

Lisa Kudrow found fame through Friends , staring in it as Phoebe Buffay (as well as her twin sister, Ursula). But acting wasn’t always the plan for Kudrow. In fact, she’d gone to school for the sciences.
Originally, she wanted to be a researcher.

Apparently, she went to LA to work with her father , but ended up being drawn to acting and comedy. She moved from improv to television, and ended up winning an Emmy for her portrayal of Phoebe.
Prince was really good at pool.

Like, really good. Afshin Shahidi, Prince’s personal photographer, told the story of how he learned that the late pop star was actually incredible at pool.
“We were at a club—I think it was in Chicago—after he had played a big show,” he said. ” There was a pool table .”
“[Prince] was like, ‘Do you want to play?'”

Shahidi thought he’d be the better pool player, but learned that Prince had a few tricks up his sleeve. “But he proceeded to basically clean the table two times in a row before I even had a chance to shoot. When I did finally have a chance, he beat the pants off me. He was that good.”
Graham Chapman graduated as a medical doctor.

Before the late comedian became part of Monty Python, he studied medicine at Emmanuel College in the University of Cambridge . But for Chapman, he felt drawn more toward comedy than the medical sciences.
He deferred his studies for a bit to work in comedy, but eventually went back.

Chapman continued to study medicine at the St. Bartholomew’s Medical College in London, but decided against pursuing a career in medicine. He much preferred the world of comedy.
Mark Ruffalo can ride a unicycle… really well.

At one point in his life, Mark Ruffalo wanted to be a clown. As any aspiring clown would, he decided to learn how to ride a unicycle. That may not necessarily translate to any of his acting work, but it’s still pretty neat.
He even showed off his cycling skills!
Appearing on The Graham Norton Show with James McAvoy and Meryl Streep, Ruffalo (along with McAvoy) showed that he can actually move around on one of those things without falling. I’m absolutely impressed.
Margot Robbie used to give out tattoos to coworkers and friends.

The actress isn’t technically a qualified tattoo artist, but that didn’t stop her from getting a tattoo gun from eBay and giving out “skwad” tattoos to her Suicide Squad castmates.
But she revealed in 2020 that she had to retire from the amateur tattooing business.

While at a bachelorette party, Robbie gave a bridesmaid a tattoo, which made an impression at the wedding. As she said, “the next day at the wedding, when she walked down the aisle as one of the maids of honor in a backless dress and this red, raw, scabbing tattoo.”
Needless to say, that was her last tattoo.
Richard Gere is a musician as well as an actor.

The Golden Globe-winning actor has appeared in a number of films over the past several decades, which have led him to receive numerous acclaims. But he’s also a pretty skilled musician.
He lent his musical talents to a few movies, too.
He actually composed the piano piece he plays during the hotel lobby scene in Pretty Woman , which is titled “He Sleeps.” On top of that, he composed a guitar solo in the film Runaway Bride .
David McCallum also happens to be a musician.

Best known for films like The Great Escape and TV shows like NCIS , McCallum also happens to be musically inclined. He composed a number of albums during the 1960s , and his most recognizable song from that era is definitely “The Edge.”
Even if you’ve never heard the song before, you probably have.
In some shape or form, at least. “The Edge” was sampled by a number of songs, including ” The Next Episode ” by Dr. Dre featuring Snoop Dogg. The original track was even in Grand Theft Auto IV and Baby Driver .
