What a rollercoaster past few days it’s been for fans of both JoJo Siwa and Candace Cameron Bure. From a viral TikTok to a Bible post to the Fuller House alum finally breaking her silence on the whole ordeal, I’m just glad the whole situation is seemingly getting closure.
If you have no idea what I’m talking about, 1) consider yourself lucky and 2) don’t worry — I’ll fill you in!
This past weekend, “Dance Moms” alum and current “So You Think You Can Dance” judge JoJo Siwa made headlines after calling out Candace Cameron Bure for being the “rudest” celeb she’s ever met.
On TikTok, the teen was taking part in a viral trend in which people flash their phones to the camera quickly while answering questions.
At first glance, it’s hard to see who the dancer showed, but after pausing the video, her screen clearly shows a shot of Ms. Bure.
As fans may recall, the pair made a joint appearance on The Kelly Clarkson show together back in 2019.
After the video went viral, it seemed like Candace subtly responded to the shade by posting a quote from the Bible on her Instagram story.
Candace posted a Bible quote on her Instagram Stories a quote that read, “Trust The Lord always” while citing the Bible verse as Isaiah 26:4.
The verse in full reads : “Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.”
It was unclear if Cameron was ever going to address the drama, but thankfully for us gossip lovers, she has!
In a new Instagram video, the Fuller House star “spilled the tea” about what exactly went down and even revealed that JoJo was the first to reach out.
“She actually didn’t want to tell me, because she said it’s so silly she felt bad,” Candace explains in the video.
According to the 19-year-old, Candace had ignored her at the Fuller House premiere back in 2013 when she was just 11 years old.
JoJo claimed that Candace told her “not right now” when asked if she could pose with her.
Apparently, JoJo claimed that now “as an adult” she understands the high-pressure situation Candace was under on the red carpet, but the Fuller House star admits she feels “crummy” about the situation.
According to Candace, the “Dance Moms” alum insisted it “wasn’t a big deal” and apologized to Candace for dissing her so publicly.
Well, it seems like these two chatted about the drama in a super mature way, and I think that’s all we can really ask for, right?!
