The Beverly Hills, 90210 and Riverdale star has died at 52-years-old, TMZ reports.
Last week, TMZ reported that Luke Perry had suffered a “massive stroke” and was rushed to hospital.

After news of his stroke, many of his past and present co-stars had expressed their love and support over social media.
At the time of his stroke, Luke was apparently in LA shooting scenes for Riverdale .
Molly Ringwald, Luke’s “Riverdale” co-star, wished him well.
She played Fred Andrews’ ex-wife on Riverdale .
After the news of his death, she took to twitter to express her grief.

We can’t even imagine what it would be like to work so closely with someone, and lose them so abruptly.
A rep confirmed the news to USA Today.

The family released a detailed statement of who was by his side as he passed away.
It sounds like he was surrounded by a lot of love.

“He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends. The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time,” the statement read .
For nearly 10 years, Luke played Dylan McKay on “Beverly Hills, 90210”.

He will be greatly missed by generations young and old.
