Lisa Marie’s half-brother shared how he was almost killed by a camel a few days before her death. Navarone said that a hungry camel almost ate him in an animal sanctuary outside Los Angeles. The 35-year-old explained that he was feeding a 2,000-pound camel out of his palm.

He told People that when he ran out of food, the camel bit his hand. The animal then lifted him, threw him to the ground, and pounced on him. Navarone said the camel was on top of him and wrapped his mouth around his head. He continued that the camel bit him while the workers tried to get the camel off him.
Priscilla Helplessly Watched The Horrific Scene Unfold
Navarone explained that the horrific scene unfolded in front of his mother, Priscilla. Fortunately for him, a dog on the spot was able to scare the camel away. The musician said the animal sanctuary called 911. However, he preferred going back to an emergency room closer to home in Los Angeles.
He Detailed The Near-Fatal Incident
Navarone continued that he had blood all over his head when he walked into the ER. He further said he needed 34 staples in his head. Navarone then concluded that he was happy he survived after Lisa Marie died a few days later. He added, “My mom would’ve lost two kids in two weeks.”

Navarone took to his Instagram a day after Lisa Marie’s death on January 12, 2023, to pen an emotional tribute to his “big sister”. The musician wrote he hoped she was now at peace with her dad, Elvis Presley, and her son, Benjamin Keough.
He Wished Things Were Different Between Him And Lisa Marie
Navarone wrote that he knew the past few years were not easy for her. He also wished things were different between them. The musician also sent love and prayers for the Lights Out singer. Along with the emotional tribute, Navarone added a photo. The photo showed him as a baby with Lisa Marie 19 years older than him.
