Former US President Barack Obama previously mentioned ‘the truth’ behind knowledge of UFOs and aliens during his presidency.
You’d expect to know about this stuff
If extraterrestrial life existed, and we knew about it, you would pretty much expect to be told about the residents of Area 51 the moment you become president.
Once you’re in charge, you can basically call in all the heads and ask them to break the news about sightings, UFOs, and aliens. You know, the stuff that the rest of us have been wondering about for ages.
Who better to ask than a former President?
Since getting the dirt on aliens while being among the people in charge is a little difficult for most of us, who better to ask about this than someone who’s been there, done that?
Former US President Barack Obama was once quizzed on whether he knew about aliens and UFOs.
Obama was once asked about aliens
In one appearance of the former President on The Late, Late Show With James Corden, Obama was asked about “dem aliens” by Reggie Watts, the comedian and musician on the show.
If we’re being honest, Obama’s answer was a little suspicious. The former President joked, “when it comes to aliens there are some things I just can’t tell you on air.”
He made sure to ask the important questions
The former President admitted that when he first came into office, he asked about aliens, saying, “The truth is that when I came into office I asked, I was like ‘all right, is there a lab somewhere we’re keeping the alien specimens and spaceship?’”
Yup, it’s good someone is asking the important questions.
Obama shared the simple response he was given
“They did a little bit of research and the answer was no,” the former President added on the answer he was given.
He also shared, “There’s footage and records of objects in the skies that we don’t know exactly what they are.” I guess UFO does stand for unidentified flying object, so maybe the believers out there shouldn’t be too discouraged.
Perhaps we really aren’t alone
Although the former President said that there have been flying objects where “we can’t explain how they moved, their trajectory,” he didn’t exactly clarify whether we’d be sending ET home any time soon.
He then joked with Watts who had asked him the question, saying that he was “deflecting” because he himself might be an alien, to which Watts jokingly agreed.
But if you ask me, that part where Obama said he “can’t tell you on air” has got us looking up at the sky more often for sure.
