Back to the Future is a movie that has a special place in the hearts of many people.
The movie tells the tale of Marty McFly, a highschooler who gets involved with Doc Brown and finds himself in the middle of a time-traveling mix-up adventure.
The original film spawned sequels, and now, a reunion of the cast.
The 11th annual TCM Classic Film Festival will be hosting ‘Back to the Future’ along with a surprise.

There will be an anniversary screening to kick off the entire festival.
Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson will join Bob Gale (co-writer/co-producer) for the screening.
So, not only will that be happening in 2020, but the film is also getting immortalized in a different way!

There will be a musical based on the film!
So broadway lovers can enjoy dipping into a world of music, adventure, and action, as they watch Back to the Future, live.
TCM’s official host said this about the film:

“Like virtually everyone else of my generation, I saw Back to the Future when it was released in 1985 and within an instant, the story, the characters, the music, and the car, of course, became critical touchstones in my personal cinematic universe,” he said.
The theme of the festival this year is “Grand Illusions: Fantastic Worlds on Film”.

It takes place in Hollywood, California, USA, April 16-19.
Hopefully, the festival has some kind of live stream that people can watch for when the cast reunites!
