There is nothing that grinds my gears more than millionaires getting stuff for free. Sure, I understand the concept behind it. I understand that it’s essentially free marketing for the company, but come on . Amy Schumer doesn’t need that free handbag, I do! And hey, Jared Leto doesn’t need that expensive watch — so give it to my husband, who would surely enjoy it!
Award shows are truly a glamorous and newsworthy event, as we’ve all seen in the past 24 hours.

I love to watch the show’s musical performances and of course, judge the fashion in my college sweatpants filled with holes and spaghetti sauce stains.
It called living , sweeties.
But if there’s one thing I loathe about these events, it’s the free swag bags celebrities get just for showing up.
For example, the 2022 Oscar bag featured an estimated $100,000 worth of free items for all those in attendance.
The gift bags included getaways to luxurious hotels and spas, a $10,000 certificate for cosmetic treatments, a plastic surgery voucher, and a three-night stay at Turin Castle in Scotland.

Do you know how many people’s lives would be made if they were just handed this gift as a reward for those everyday folks busting their behind at a 9-5 job?
The company that has organized these swag bags for the past TWENTY YEARS, Distinctive Assets, always does at least one giveaway for a lucky fan, which is really nice but… come one now.
I say we stop giving these millionaires more free stuff and start spreading the wealth amongst us common folk!
