Well, this is interesting, and would certainly piss off a whole slew of internet trolls!
If they were looking to get publicity off this stunt, I couldn’t see a better way than this!

Well, the MCU is getting it’s first openly gay character.
And only ten years later.
This character will be Ikaris, played by Richard Madden (who has been playing a lot of gay characters recently). He will be appearing in Marvel’s The Eternals .
But this begs the question… will there be more?
Well, the stars of the MCU certainly want there to be one.
In a recent interview with Variety Anthony Mackie (also known as Falcon) said that Kristen Stewart could be “The gay female Falcon Captain America,”
This story doesn’t come without hardships though.
Mackie recently did a film with Stewart, and she told him a story about how she was told if she stopped the PDA with her girlfriend, then she could land a big-budget movie.
Like, say, a Marvel movie.
So, this was Mackie’s way of supporting her.
And honestly, it doesn’t sound like such a bad idea. I mean the “What If?” Marvel series is coming up, so maybe they could do:
“What if Captain America was a woman and also a lesbian?”
