This next season of Dancing with the Stars has got to be one of the most talked-about seasons of the show’s history. From rumors of host shake-ups to a network change, it’s clear to see executives have big plans for the legendary dance show’s upcoming 31st season.

On Thursday, it was announced that “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” star Alfonso Ribeiro would be co-hosting the upcoming 31st season of “Dancing with the Stars” alongside current host, Tyra Banks.

As fans will recall, Alfonso stole hearts and ultimately won the mirrorball when he appeared in the show’s 19th season.
“Dancing with the Stars has been such an important part of my life for so many years, and I am ecstatic to officially re-join this tight-knit family as co-host,” the actor said in a statement, as per “ET.”
“ Tyra and I have a longstanding friendship that I hope will resonate with all of the fans at home as we kick off this new season on Disney+.”
As fans of the hit ’90s sitcom “Fresh Prince” will recall, the two first met when they worked together on the series, which Tyra remembered fondly in her statement.

“I’ve known Alfonso since I was 19 years old and he always puts a smile on my face whenever I see him,” Tyra said.
“Having such a fun-loving, longtime friend as co-host warms my heart. Plus, he’s won the competition before, so he knows exactly what the stars are going through.”
“Bantering back and forth with him live is going to be so much fun!”
I personally can’t wait to see what season 31 has in store for fans!
