Picture this: you’ve just encountered something random , strange , or super awesome in the wild. What do you do about it?
The most common answer to that is probably to take a picture. But what do you do with that picture? You’ll probably share it with your friends. But you may post it to social media to earn some sweet internet points.

I guess some people need to be reminded that kids’ sports teams aren’t that serious. Yeah, people want their kids and their teams to do well, but that doesn’t mean you have to yell at them like they’re playing professional baseball. Just sit back and enjoy the game.
“Cleaned up my street because the city of Atlanta couldn’t care less.”
People love images with feel good stories attached to them. And aside from anything animal related, there’s nothing the internet loves more than people taking care of the planet.
This guy did what the city wouldn’t do, and made his neighborhood a cleaner place to be. He deserves some serious internet cred.

Not only is this a really cool shot of New York City in the evening, but the people in the Reddit comments couldn’t stop talking about the way this person’s girlfriend looks like a certain Lo-Fi girl that’s been floating around the YouTube music scene.

I mean, who wouldn’t love to work in a place like this? It looks like what I imagine every house on the Italian countryside looks like, and it’s simply amazing. It makes perfect sense that the internet went head over heels for this incredible scene.
I’d really love to know what’s on the menu.

Because there’s one thing we all love: food. No matter what kind of diet you follow, you probably can’t resist how delicious these pancakes look. And all the different toppings. So many different combinations people could make.
Am I starting to get hungry just by looking at this? I am indeed.

One day soon, we’ll have convocations in person again. But for those of us who have been affected by the lack of indoor gatherings thanks to a certain international event, we’ve had to make do.
Do you know how much a regalia can cost? Might as well improvise if your school can’t rent you one.
“After 9 years I’ve decided to finally cut my hair and donate 16 inches of it.”
I will always be amazed by how much hair some people can grow. It must be such a relief being able to cut that much off, but it’s probably also kind of sad (if I had that much hair and cut it, I’d miss it for sure).
But at least someone will be able to get a nice wig out of it.
“My sis and BIL moved into a new house today, found this safe in the floor and can’t open it. Yet.”
The internet loves a good mystery. And the mystery behind this strange vault in this couple’s new home has yet to be solved. Will be updated on things? Will we get to know how they opened it, and what’s inside? I guess only time will tell, but it’s fun imagining what could be in there.

These definitely fall under the category of “cool and fun things the internet will go crazy over.” The majority of you reading this probably don’t have any interest in actually sleeping in a bunk bed, but that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate the artistry behind these amazing pieces of furniture.

As it turns out, this is Olympian Nathan Crumpton ‘s Reddit account. Who knew athletes were just like us regular folk? Even if they get to witness one of the world’s most recognizable sporting events from inside the event. It must be so exciting and terrifying, all at once. Best of luck!

Even though most of us probably didn’t know this cat was ever missing, I’m sure we can all agree that this is one of the top feel good stories of the week. I’m so glad that the owners decided to update their missing posters with such good news!

This is slightly before my time, but even I know that these are some of the most iconic rock albums out there. Man, the ’90s must’ve been a great time for music in general.
Then again, everyone thinks that music from the past is better than the music from today (no matter what year “today” is).

Look at how proud this kid is of his awesome idea! You’d have to be heartless not to be happy for him. And as it turns out, the good people of Reddit do have hearts, because they loved this image.
This is definitely a unique take on the free libraries that have been popping up everywhere.

All I can say is that I hope they were able to transport that couch safely (for the couch’s sake). The way the armrest/drawer is positioned makes the couch look shocked, which I would be too if a bunch of people tried to lift me on top of a car.
And it has the added effect of being hilarious, which the internet loved.

People were really excited about these beans. And I can’t really blame them; they look so cool! They’re one part gourmet jellybean, and two parts the magic beans Jack used to grow that giant beanstalk.
I really wonder what they taste like, because they’d probably make a really fun addition to a salad.

The amount of patience you need to have in order to fold a single piece of paper enough times to make it look like a cactus. Like, this was done by one person, with one piece of paper . No cuts, just folds.
I think I can speak for everyone when I say this is beyond impressive.
“My wife’s friend is obsessed with Oreos, so my wife made her a big Oreo cake.”
This is what friendship is all about; making your Oreo-obsessed friend the one thing they really want. This is probably the biggest Oreo any of us will ever see, so let’s enjoy it while we can.

The look on this guy’s face tells you that he’s looking at something awesome. Luckily for us, we don’t have to keep guessing, because you can see the gorgeous sunset right in the window’s reflection. It’s almost hard to believe that it’s real! But don’t worry, it’s as real as it gets.

I think the reason why the internet is always obsessed with impressive artwork is that most of us can’t do things like this. We don’t have the time, patience, or discipline to learn how to make marble look like cloth on a statue. So we just stare at it instead.

And just like that, there’s another eco-friendly packaging solution that people are going to go nuts over. Instead of those horrible plastic bags, these ones are made with paper. Which means they’re not only recyclable, but probably also a lot easier to pop (Yes, I have problems with the plastic ones).

That’s pretty sweet. I wonder if purple cauliflower tastes any different from the regular kind. Since it’s apparently so rare, most of us probably won’t be able to try it. But on the plus side, pictures exist. It’s not like being near the real thing (or eating it), but hey. Close enough.

I really want to know how that lizard got up on that sponge. It almost looks busy, like it has places to be or something. How it’s going to get off the sponge is another story, but we can at least appreciate sponge lizard for what it is: an icon.

Is there anything better than pasta? Well, there is one thing, and it’s pasta that just so happens to be inside a really cool box. Like these boxes, which are made to look like the pasta is part of a woman’s hair.
All the different styles and textures make each box really stand out. So cool!

The internet is, like, strangely enamored with eggs that have 2 yolks inside of them? Which is fine, but it almost feels a lot more common than people make it out to be.
Still, the odds of this many eggs having two yolks is probably astronomical. So yeah, this is really cool.

Does it count as a photobomb if the groom is technically supposed to be there? Either way, this is creating such a strange yet cool effect. The bride and groom’s heads have been merged together thanks to this awkward camera angle, making the bride’s face look a little bit off.
“I got a warning for leaving my laptop unattended in the library.”
Not everyone is good or conscientious. Some people will steal if given the opportunity. That’s why you should never leave your valuables unattended in public.
At least this library had the decency to warn people against it. I think more libraries should do things like this so that people won’t leave their stuff laying around.

That’s a big moth! I wonder what the wingspan on this guy would look like. It’s probably insanely big.
And that’s why people are flocking to this image. Who wouldn’t want to catch a glimpse of one of natures strangest oddities? Especially for those of us who don’t live in the UK.
