While hugging Veteran William Allen at the 91st Field of Remembrance, Duchess Meghan Markle accidentally left a foundation smug on his jacket.
William had a surprising reaction to the incident!

Okay, everyone who isn’t in the know, here’s a brief breakdown of what Remembrance Day is:
For everyone in the Commonwealth, it’s the day of remembrance to honor those who fought in World War I.
So, it’s pretty close to what Veteran’s Day is.
It’s actually…literally Veteran’s Day. The US changed the name from Remembrance Day to Veteran’s Day during World War II.

So, back to Meghan.
It’s safe to say that she has been through it over the last year or so.
It’s no secret that she’s suffered some harsh criticisms from the British media, as well loads of people online.
She recently opened up about how much she’s been struggling.
Surprisingly, she revealed that she hasn’t been handling the harsh attention well.
“Not many people have asked if I’m okay, so thank you for asking,” she told a reporter who inquired after her mental health.
This was her first appearance in a while.
Amid pushback from she and Harry against the media, including an out-and-out lawsuit against the Daily Mail , Meghan and Harry surprised everyone with their appearance.
They were short a member of their squad, however.
Meghan’s fellow Duchess couldn’t attend.
Though Kate Middleton was scheduled to appear, she fell ill before the ceremony.
Reporter Rebecca English said the Duchess was, unfortunately, suffering from a chest infection and would not be attending.
Meghan was in good spirits for the day.
Though the ceremony was somber, Meghan managed to bring smiles to many faces who were in attendance.
One such smile belonged to William Allen, who was a D-Day Veteran coming up on his 100th birthday.
Meghan had a total makeup blunder.
If I had a dollar for every time I’ve left a remnantt behind of my foundation and powder, I’d have at least $50.
Yeah, I gotta get a new setting spray.
ANYWAY…
Meghan went to hug William and accidentally left a trace of her face makeup on his jacket.
Rather than be bothered by it, William, who will celebrate his 100th birthday next month, was thrilled.
He was overjoyed.
“I’m never washing that!” He said, happily.
Guys, it is so heartwarming to see someone be so nice to Meghan. I am 100% a Meghan apologist after all that she’s endured lately.
Meghan and Harry weren’t done with military visits, however.
Before the ceremony, they did some surprise visits to their neighbors.
They were there to chat with them about having family members who served abroad, as well as have a cup of coffee.
Meghan was thrilled to see the kids there.
“Look at all your little teeth!” Meghan told a little girl in a video from the couple’s Instagram page. “Archie’s just got two teeth — two tiny ones right there.”

And Harry asked some super interesting questions.
“Harry was really quite interested in how things were with second children as well, because we both have older children.” One of the parents said .
Hm…Harry inquiring about second children? I’m sure that doesn’t mean anything at all.
They straight-up told Harry they needed more kids.
“We were trying to encourage him to have a second baby,” Susie Stringfellow revealed.
Man, I hope Meghan has an easier second pregnancy than her first. I mean, if they decide to go for it.
Another parent talked about how nice Meghan was.
“My daughter Aeris is the same age as Archie and we talked about weaning and the children beginning to crawl – she’s just a normal mum and it was like talking to a friend,” Amy Thompson said .
