When you’re in the mood for some comfort, watching a good TV show is like a warm hug. It relaxes you right in the feels.
But only the right show will do. Clearly, The Haunting of Hill House or a Netflix documentary on serial killers won’t give you the warm and fuzzies. That’s why comfort shows — particularly comedy and sitcoms such as The Office , Gilmore Girls , and Bob’s Burgers — are so important.
