Every once in a while, we end up seeing some pretty unique ideas . At times, these ideas may come across as random , but for the most part they’re actually pretty awesome.
These ideas are the kinds I think should be around more often. They may not be groundbreaking, world-saving ideas, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t still worth keeping in mind.
“My teacher’s hall pass is part of an old computer.”
If you look closely along the right edge of the part, it says it was made in 1994. So this is super old tech, practically ancient at this point.
But. This is one unique way to reuse computer parts that probably can’t be used for anything else. And it makes a cool hall pass!
Here’s a good way to make use of a damaged marquee.
This sign probably got hit by a storm. Luckily, it happened to belong to a chiropractor’s office, and they figured out a brilliant way to use it to take their advertising to the next level. I bet their business is booming now.
“This USB connector can switch between type A and micro B.”
Micro USB B might be starting to become less and less common thanks to USB C, but there are still an overwhelming amount of devices that use it. And honestly? A plug like this that allows you to switch from A to B would be so useful.
It would definitely eliminate a lot of cable clutter.
“My local liquor store has a tub of super cold water that chills bottles of wine in less than 10 minutes.”
Picture this: you’re on your way to a dinner party, only to realize you don’t have a bottle of wine to bring to the host. So you go to the liquor store, pick out a wine, only to realize it’s too warm.
Yeah, you can see why something like this should be in every store.
“This clock in a barbershop is reversed so it can be read in the mirror.”
I’ll admit, I haven’t been to a hairdresser in a very long time (pandemic notwithstanding), so I have no idea if these kinds of clocks are common. But, they should be. They’d at least keep the hairdressers from turning around to look at the clock all the time.

This is honestly such a brilliant idea that every school should try to adopt. It’s the perfect compromise for people who like to eat outside, but it’s too hot or rainy to actually be comfortable. Talk about a genius-level move!
“Hotel I stayed at was formerly a train station and had an actual train inside it, with rooms inside each car.”
Staying in one of those passenger trains that have cabins you can sleep in seems really cool in theory, but what if you don’t want to actually go anywhere?
Just stay at this hotel, and get the full train experience.
“When I bought my house, the title company gave me a digital copy of all my documents on a thumb drive shaped like a house key.”
That’s definitely one way to save on paper. And honestly, if you’re doing business that requires transferring documents, there’s no better way to do it than in style. These house key-shaped drives are perfect for that!

That’s one really cool way to keep produce outside without worrying about it wilting or anything. And it keeps everything nice and clean and organized, too. Sure, it may cause the store to spend more on electricity, but that’s a price they’re willing to pay, I suppose.

Regardless of what your opinions of pineapple on pizza are, you have to admit that this bib is pretty cool. It’ll help those of us who are a bit messier keep our shirts from getting stained, all while giving you a fashion forward look. Well, sort of.
A delivery truck for that can probably get your pizza delivered in record time.
Okay… hear me out. This ginormous pizza delivery truck may seem excessive, but I’m willing to bet it has no problem navigating the road. People would definitely try to avoid driving near this thing, so the delivery driver would get that pizza delivered on time, every time.
“Recycling bin has a smaller slot so people actually have to flatten boxes instead of just throwing them in!”
I think every recycling bin should be formatted like this. Having to deal with other people’s uncompressed boxes is so annoying. You’d think it would just be common courtesy, but some people clearly need that extra push.
“Dry bag that holds my tent has a constellation guide sewn in.”
If you’re camping, chances are you’re going to see a few of these constellations at night. It’s nice that this tent included a handy guide to help you identify some of them!
It’ll probably make camping so much more exciting.

This is… so incredibly handy. Rather than having to go back and guess which screw is the right one for each step, everything is already laid out in front of you. This’ll make furniture assembly so much easier!

Hey, you never know when one of those extra sauce packets could come in handy. And fortune cookies make for a surprisingly good snack. Devoting a drawer to all those leftovers seems like an amazing idea!

Considering how often people end up hitting golf balls into bodies of water, this is a very good idea. At least, instead of polluting the oceans, these balls will be beneficial to all the fish who live there.
This graph paper that’s arranged in hexagons instead of squares.
I’m no chemist, so I wouldn’t have ever known graph paper like this exists. But now that I do, I want to see it sold everywhere regular graph paper is sold.
Seriously! This would’ve come in handy during high school chemistry.
This breakfast burrito bag is a lot smaller than a normal bag.
I can’t get over how cute this tiny bag is! And it’s the exact perfect size to fit that tiny breakfast burrito, so it’s truly a win-win situation.
I think there should be more tiny bags like this in the world. At the very least, they’d making shopping a lot of fun.
